Mining Weekly reported International Goldfields announced an estimated  resource of 40.6-million pounds of copper at its Ortiz project located in New Mexico.

As quoted in the market report:

International Goldfields would gain exposure to the Ortiz project through the recently announced merger with US-based Santa Fe Gold Corporation. In connection with the anticipated merger, Santa Fe delivered an independent review of historical drilling, sampling and metallurgical data at the Ortiz project.
