Correction to request for Trading Halt

A request for a Trading Halt issued today incorrectly referred to a trading halt pending an announcement regarding a capital raising. This was in error and should have referred to a trading halt pending an announcement concerning a mineral resources estimate update for the Makuutu rare earths project.

Corrected request is set out below.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1 Ionic Rare Earths Limited (ASX: IXR) requests an immediate trading halt on its securities pending an announcement by the Company regarding a mineral resources estimate update for the Makuutu rare earths project..

The Company requests the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 4 th May 2022 or when the announcement concerning the mineral resources estimate update is released to the market.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
