Infinity Lithium Inches Closer to Mining Licence Application for San José Lithium Project

EIA Scoping Document deems project compatible with environmental and land use requirements

Infinity Lithium (ASX:INF, FRA:3PM) strengthens its advancement plans for its San Jose Lithium project after the Spanish government finalized the EIA Scoping Document through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Extremadura New Energies.


According to an article, the company is pushing closer toward mining license and authorization requirements after positive government permitting recommendations. The EIA Scoping Document establishes the preliminary conditions for San José to be compatible with environmental and urbanistic license requirements.

Infinity says the recent advancements in the permitting process follow positive opinion polls in the local area, the article said. This translates to the project complying fully with the Extremadura Lithium Decree Law for the ability to exploit and process lithium in the region.

Western Australia Allocates AU$14 Million to Improving Environmental Approval Process

Western Australia's governmentsaid on Monday (November 11) that it is allotting AU$14 million to support the employment of additional staff at the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and the Office of the Appeals.
