AURION COMPLETES ARRANGEMENT WITH AGNICO EAGLE MINES LIMITED

Aurion Resources Ltd. (TSXV: AU,OTC:AIRRF) (OTCQX: AIRRF) ("Aurion") is pleased to announce the successful completion of the previously announced plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement"), pursuant to which Agnico Eagle Mines Limited ("Agnico") acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Aurion ("Aurion Shares") (other than Aurion Shares held by Agnico or any of its affiliates) for cash consideration of C$2.60 for each Aurion Share held.

In connection with the Arrangement, the Aurion Shares will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange. Aurion will also apply to cease to be a reporting issuer under applicable Canadian securities laws.
