NuScale Proudly Supports TVA and ENTRA1 Energy Announcement of Landmark 6-Gigawatt Small Module Reactor Deployment Program

Represents the Largest SMR Deployment in U.S. History

Initiative Advances President Trump's Vision for U.S. Energy Security and American Leadership in Advanced Nuclear Technologies

NuScale Power Corporation (NYSE: SMR), the industry-leading provider of proprietary and innovative advanced small modular reactor (SMR) nuclear technology, today announced its strong support for ENTRA1 Energy's American landmark agreement with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to deploy up to 6 gigawatts of NuScale SMR capacity across TVA's seven-state service region—the largest SMR deployment program in U.S. history.

This historic program is expected to deliver enough carbon-free, baseload electricity to power at least the equivalent of the entire Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, which is essential at a time when sectors such as hyperscale datacenters, artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductor manufacturing, and other critical infrastructure sectors are driving unprecedented electricity demand.

"We are honored that ENTRA1 has selected NuScale's U.S. NRC-approved SMR technology for this historic deployment in delivering power to the TVA region," said John Hopkins, NuScale's President and Chief Executive Officer. "ENTRA1's team of energy and finance veterans brings exceptional value to our partnership—combining energy sales knowledge, investment and asset management capabilities, deep project finance expertise, and experience in delivering large-scale power infrastructure. Their experience is exactly what is required as we enter this critical next phase of commercializing and deploying NuScale Power Modules™ into ENTRA1 Energy Plants™. Together, we are ready as partners to meet America's surging demand for reliable, carbon-free baseload power—powering AI data centers, critical mining, semiconductor manufacturing, and the energy-intensive industries that are driving our nation's economic future."

Delivering on President Trump's Energy Vision

This American landmark partnership between ENTRA1 Energy and TVA, along with the ENTRA1-NuScale partnership, directly supports our nation's energy dominance agenda and call to accelerate deployment of advanced nuclear technologies as a cornerstone of U.S. energy security.

By combining TVA's longstanding experience as a community-serving utility, ENTRA1's innovative development models, and NuScale's NRC-approved SMR technology, this program strengthens American advancement in next-generation nuclear power production. NuScale remains the first and only U.S. NRC-approved SMR technology ready for commercial deployment, making this program a reality.

"Energy security is national security—and dependable electricity is the lifeblood of America's future," said Skip Alvarado, ENTRA1 Energy's Chief Projects Officer. "It powers our AI data centers, fuels advanced manufacturing, and drives the critical industries that keep our nation strong. Without abundant, affordable baseload power, innovation stalls and supply chains break."

About the Program

Under the agreement, the program aims to deploy six ENTRA1 Energy Plants™, each powered by multiple NuScale Power Modules™, to provide up to 6 GW of firm, 24/7 baseload power within TVA's service region. ENTRA1 Energy Plants™ are owned and financed through ENTRA1.

NuScale's modular, factory-fabricated design offers construction efficiency, and scalability, with applications ranging from electric power generation to hydrogen production, district heating, desalination, and industrial process heat.

Global Nuclear Power Market Is Witnessing Significant Growth as Future of Uranium Looks Promising

Global Nuclear Power Market Is Witnessing Significant Growth as Future of Uranium Looks Promising

FinancialNewsMedia.com News Commentary - Many recent reports project significant growth in the Global Nuclear Power Market. A report from Cognitive Market Research said that the Global Nuclear Power Market is witnessing significant growth in the near future. The report added: "In 2023, the Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) segment accounted for a noticeable share of global Nuclear Power Market and is projected to experience significant growth in the near future. The Electric Power Generation segment is expected to expand at the significant CAGR retaining position throughout the forecast period." An additional report from IBIS World mentioned: "Nuclear power companies produce electricity by heating water in a reactor via nuclear fission and using the produced steam to spin large turbines. The United States has more nuclear electricity generation capacity than any other country, generating more than 771.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity alone, according to the Energy Information Administration's (EIA) most recent Electric Power Monthly report." In an article published by Financial Gambits: "The recent sanctions on Russian uranium imports have disrupted global supply chains, increasing the reliance on domestic and allied sources. The US government has shown strong support for domestic uranium production, with significant investments in nuclear energy infrastructure and policy support for new projects. As a matter of fact, the U.S. federal government said it would provide a $1.5 billion loan to restart a nuclear power plant in southwestern Michigan last month. Holtec International acquired the 800-megawatt Palisades plant in 2022 with plans to dismantle it. But now the emphasis is on restarting it by late 2025, following support from the state of Michigan and the Biden administration. Right now the U.S. is the world's largest producer of nuclear power but the problem is that it imports 90% of its annual uranium requirement. For a long time now the U.S. has heavily relied on Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan for nearly 50% of its uranium supply. This won't be the case for too long however, considering that on April 30, the Senate voted to approve legislation banning the import of enriched uranium from Russia." Active Mining Companies in the industry include: Panther Minerals Inc. (OTCPK: GLIOF) (CSE: PURR), NexGen Energy Ltd. (NYSE: NXE), CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. (OTCQX: CVVUF) (TSX-V: CVV), Forum Energy Metals Corp. (OTCQB: FDCFF) (TSX-V: FMC), District Metals Corp. (TSX-V: DMX).

Alvopetro Announces August 2025 Sales Volumes

Alvopetro Announces August 2025 Sales Volumes

Alvopetro Energy Ltd. (TSXV: ALV,OTC:ALVOF) (OTCQX: ALVOF) announces August sales volumes of 2,375 boepd, based on field estimates. In Brazil August sales volumes averaged 2,257 boepd, including natural gas sales of 12.7 MMcfpd, associated natural gas liquids sales from condensate of 132 bopd and oil sales of 9 bopd. The large relative contribution of production from our 100% Murucututu field in August relates to the start of production from our 183-D4 well which commenced production later in August. From August 20 through September 3 the 183-D4 well produced at an average rate of 162 e 3 m 3 d (5.7 MMcfpd, 954 boepd) and we recovered 5,482 barrels of completions fluid and 1,033 barrels of natural gas liquids from condensate. Over the past 24 hours the well is producing through a constant 3664"choke at an average rate of 179 e 3 m 3 d (6.3 MMcfpd, 1,052 boepd) with a 1,015 psi flowing wellhead pressure and recovered 151 barrels of condensate (total well production 1,203 boepd) and 117 barrels of completions fluid. There are 10,322 barrels of 15,806 barrels of completions fluid left to recover. Given these extremely strong production results we are currently producing the Murucututu field from this single well as we are limited by our current facility capacity at Murucututu. As we continue to monitor these initial flow results, we will be evaluating options to improve production capacity of the system to allow for more production from the Murucututu field.
