E3 Lithium Begins Commissioning the Clearwater Project Demonstration Facility

E3 Lithium Ltd. (TSXV: ETL,OTC:EEMMF) (FSE: OW3) (OTCQX: EEMMF), "E3", "E3 Lithium" or the "Company," a leader in Canadian lithium, announces that commissioning of Phase 1 of the Demonstration Facility is underway and on schedule. Phase 1 involves operating the 30-column DLE system (the "DLE System") and polishing and purification equipment (the "Purification Units"). As previously stated, the objective of Phase 1 is to fully operationalize the DLE System and Purification Units to produce a high-quality lithium chloride, which will support the production of battery-grade lithium carbonate.

Demonstration Facility as of August 24, 2025

Demonstration Facility as of August 24, 2025

Final testing and operational reviews were completed late last week; the first stage of commissioning is the introduction of brine into the DLE system, which occurred over the past weekend. The company expects the initial DLE System to take approximately one week to full commission. After which, the Purification Units will be initialized and lithium chloride produced from the DLE System will flow through this system, completing the commissioning stages of Phase 1. Once both the DLE System and Purification Units have completed their respective commissioning stages, the Demonstration Facility will shift to full operations. The main goals of Phase 1 are to ensure the equipment is in operating order after assembly, confirm both systems functionality under real-time operating conditions and produce a high-quality lithium chloride for conversion into battery-grade lithium carbonate.

E3 Lithium has sufficient brine on site to enable the operation of the Phase 1 DLE and purification units into early Q4, 2025, and the Company expects to provide updates as operations progress and results become available.

"The commissioning of Phase 1 of our Demonstration Facility highlights the equipment is in full working order and is an exciting next step for the advancement of this facility," said Chris Doornbos, President and CEO. "The results from Phase 1 will ensure that our process is fully optimized and ready for Phase 2 of the Demonstration Facility that is set to begin later this fall."

E3 Lithium Outlines 23.4 Mt LCE Inferred Mineral Resource in Consolidated Bashaw District

E3 Lithium Outlines 23.4 Mt LCE Inferred Mineral Resource in Consolidated Bashaw District

E3 Lithium (TSXV: ETL) (FSE: OU7A) (OTCQX: EEMMF) (the "Company" or "E3 Lithium" or "E3"), Alberta's leading lithium developer and Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology innovator today announced the increase in its inferred mineral resource to 23.4 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) contained within the newly-named Bashaw District (the "Resource"). The Bashaw District combines and expands the Clearwater Resource and Exshaw Resource areas into a consolidated resource that contains an estimated total of 59 billion m 3 (59 km 3 ) of brine formation water at an average grade of 74.5 milligramLitre (mgL) lithium (Figure 1).

"This increase clearly establishes E3 Lithium, and the Leduc Aquifer in this region, as being a globally-significant source of lithium," commented Chris Doornbos , E3's CEO.  "With the combination of the Resource, and the Company's ion-exchange direct extraction technology, E3 continues to lead Alberta on the path to becoming a major lithium producing jurisdiction.  With E3's significant resource, established social licence to operate, supportive government policy, low-risk and transparent regulatory processes, and stable tax and royalty systems, E3 is well-situated to realize commercial production of battery-grade lithium."

Critical Minerals Market Expected to Reach $586 Billion by 2032 as Demand Grows for Supply of Essential Minerals

Critical Minerals Market Expected to Reach $586 Billion by 2032 as Demand Grows for Supply of Essential Minerals

FN Media Group News Commentary - Industry experts project that the global critical minerals market will continue maintaining substantial growth as it has in recent years. The global critical minerals market is experiencing unprecedented growth, primarily driven by the accelerating transition to clean energy technologies. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the market size of key energy transition minerals doubled over the past five years, aligning closely with the market size for iron ore mining. This surge is largely attributed to the tripling of lithium demand, a 70% increase in cobalt demand, and a 40% rise in nickel demand between 2017 and 2022, with clean energy applications accounting for significant portions of this demand. The sustainability of the global critical minerals market is increasingly influenced by governmental initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and enhancing resource efficiency. A recent report from DataM Intelligence projected that Critical Minerals Market Size reached US$ 328.19 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach US$ 586.63 billion by 2032, growing with a CAGR of 7.53% during the forecast period 2025-2032. The report said: "A notable trend in the critical minerals market is the increasing investment in mineral development, which witnessed a 30% rise in 2022 following a 20% increase in 2021. Lithium saw the sharpest investment increase at 50%, followed by copper and nickel. This investment surge is a response to the soaring demand for minerals like lithium, cobalt, nickel, and copper, driven by the deployment of clean energy technologies such as electric vehicles, wind turbines, and solar panels." Active companies in the markets this week include: Saga Metals Corp. (OTCQB: SAGMF) (TSX-V: SAGA), TMC the metals company Inc. (NASDAQ: TMC), Critical Metals Corp. (NASDAQ: CRML), Rio Tinto Group (NYSE: RIO), Empire Metals Limited (OTCQX: EPMLF) (LON: EEE).
