Quest Diagnostics Achieves Meaningful Use 2014 Certification for ChartMaxx®

Quest Diagnostics’ (NYSE:DGX) enterprise content management solution, ChartMaxx, has achieved 2014 Edition Modular EHR* ONC Health IT Certification which supports both Stages 1 and 2 of the Meaningful Use program. Health system providers who use the product may now qualify for government financial incentives awarded to physicians and hospitals that demonstrate meaningful use of electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare information technologies to improve clinical care.

ChartMaxx version 6.2 was certified by ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon Enterprise Solutions, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB), in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). ChartMaxx 6.2 meets ten criteria (including eight core measures and two menu measures as defined by ONC) including the ability to transmit data to patient portals, core security measures and patient specific education resources.
