Energy Resources Says Flooding May Affect Uranium Production

Mining Weekly Reported Energy Resources of Australia (ASX:ERA) announced flooding may impact uranium mining in the Pilbara region.

As quoted in the market news:

The miner reported a 30% production drop for 2011, after it had to suspend the processing plant operations between January and June owing to an above average 2010/11 wet season.

While uranium oxide production for the 12 months to December fell to 2 641 t, output was above ERA’s guidance of 2 600 t.
