U.S. Energy Department Reports Natural Gas Output to Surge in 2012, 2013

Bloomberg reported that according to the Energy Department, natural gas production in the U.S. is likely to surge to record levels in 2012 and 2013 due to increased shale formations.

As quoted in the market news:

U.S. stockpiles may climb to a record 3.96 trillion cubic feet at the end of October 2012 and 3.99 trillion a year later, according to the report.
