Energia Minerals Ltd. (ASX:EMX) announced that it’s expanded the underground drill program at its Italy-based Gorno zinc project.

Energia Minerals Ltd. (ASX:EMX) announced that it’s expanded the underground drill program at its Italy-based Gorno zinc project.

As quoted in the press release:

The first three holes of this program are for mine planning purposes to be followed by the exploration program with significant exploration results to be released to the market as they become available. Whilst this program of exploration and resource definition progresses, refurbishment of the 940RL and 990RL levels and planning for the Exploration Decline will continue in parallel.

In other developments, refurbishment of the Ca Pasi Access Tunnel and roadway between the Ca Pasi North portal and the Forcella portal are now complete and bridge construction being carried out by local contractor, Edilmac, is nearing completion. The Company is very pleased with the quality of work and progress achieved to date by its local team of specialists and is grateful for the continuing support of the local community and authorities.
