Micron Waste Technologies (CSE:MWM) was featured in a CannabisFN (CFN) article regarding its potential partnership with a major licensed cannabis producer, Aurora Cannabis Inc.
The article addresses Micron’s approach to using technology to process organic waste and how it can play a valuable role in mitigating costs and environmental impact in the cannabis industry. In light of this proposed approach, Micron has attracted potential investment from a notable cannabis producer. If the deal is approved, Aurora Cannabis will have Micron’s technology installed in their cultivation facilities “where both companies will work on optimizing to delivery a commercially-ready version.”
If the deal takes place, once Micron has refined its technology for processing cannabis organic waste, it will pay Aurora a 4 percent royalty on gross revenues from the sale, lease and support services of units sold to the cannabis industry.
