Strateco reports licence application for underground exploration

Strateco Resources reports application to the CNSC for licence to the Underground Exploration Program of the Matoush uranium property was filed today.

The application, as part of the licensing process, started with the filing on July 15th, 2008, of the Preliminary Project Description to the CNSC, the Canadian Environment Agency and the ministere du Developpement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs of Quebec.

Strateco continues its information and consultation program with meetings scheduled for the week of December 8th, 2008, with Mistissini’s First Nations and the population of Chibougamau, located respectively 180 km and 260 km south of the Matoush property. The Underground Exploration Program is planned to begin during the summer of 2009.
