Precious Metals: Platinum Rises Slightly

CNBC reported on precious metals trading on Wednesday noting platinum rose slightly.

As quoted in the market news:

Among other precious metals, platinum was up 0.3 percent at $1,543.99 an ounce, recovering some lost ground after its recent underperformance . The metal widened its historically unusual discount to the gold to nearly $100 on Tuesday.
