Colombian Coal Exports Face 10 Percent Drop in 2012

Mining Weekly reported that waning global demand may push Colombian coal exports down by 10 percent in 2012.

As quoted in the market report:

In a presentation to journalists, Jimenez cited oversupply in the market, the increased use of shale gas, the railway strike in Colombia and delays in environmental licenses in the top producing region of Cesar for the drop.
