Ms. Duquet-Harvey holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia and a Mining Engineering Technician from the Haileybury School of Mines. Ms. Duquet-Harvey brings to the Company extensive environment experience at mining operations and obtaining environmental permits in northern Canada and Nunavut. She has over 25 years' experience in environmental studies, environmental monitoring and working closely with local aboriginal groups. She has contributed to the successful implementation of numerous environmental programs at several mining companies, including Agnico Eagle - Nunavut, Alamos Gold - Young-Davidson, Kirkland Lake Gold - Macassa Mine, New Britannia Mine - Manitoba and Kinross Gold - Macassa Mine, Bell Creek Mill.

Critical Elements Lithium Corporation (TSX-V:CRE)(OTCQX:CRECF)(FSE:F12) ("Critical Elements" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce having obtained an order from the Minister of Transport of Canada (the "Order") exempting the Corporation from the prohibition to dewater navigable waters under the Canadian Navigable Waters Act ("CNWA") impacting 28 navigable waters located either on top of or around the perimeter of the future open pit mine site for the Rose Lithium-Tantalum project

Indeed, Subsection 23(1) of the CNWA prohibits taking any action, such as dewatering, that lowers the water level of a navigable water or any part of a navigable water to a level that extinguishes navigation for vessels, unless the Minister of Transport receives an application for an exemption and the Governor in Council is satisfied that it would be in the public interest to permit the dewatering that extinguishes navigation. Following a detailed review and analysis of the Corporation's request, Transport Canada concluded that it would be in the public interest to permit the dewatering, thereby reducing water levels in the 28 navigable waters and making navigation impracticable. As a result, an exemption was granted to the Corporation pursuant to subsection 24(1) of the CNWA.

Benefits of ASCR Product

The process yields in the region of 130,000 tonnes of alumina silicate by-product annually and will be marketed as a cement additive. This product comprises silica (SiO2), aluminium oxide (Al2O3), and ferric oxide (Fe2O3).

It features a fine particle size and large specific surface area, enhancing its reactivity and utility in cement production. The Jiangsu Lithium Refinery successfully sold this by-product to local cement industries. Alumina silicate can improve cement strength and durability by absorbing Ca(OH)2 produced during hydration, filling gaps, and reducing heat generation. It also helps to resist cracking in large-volume concrete by mitigating temperature-induced stress. The effectiveness of alumina silicate in cement is well-established, with cement containing 30% alumina silicate showing a 132% increase in 28-day compressive strength compared to Portland cement. Additionally, using the fly ash activity determination method, cement with 30% alumina silicate demonstrates a 174% increase in 3-month compressive strength compared to cement with 30% finely ground quartz sand. By replacing some cement raw materials, alumina silicate can reduce production costs, improve efficiency, and enhance cement quality and durability.
