Amplats to Maintain Full-year Production Target Despite Strike

Reuters reported that despite a recent two-week strike at its South African operations, Anglo American Platinum Ltd. (LSE:AAL) will not reduce its full-year production target of 2.3 million ounces.

As quoted in the market news:

Amplats, as the platinum unit of Anglo American is known, said group equivalent refined platinum production increased 5 percent in the quarter to end September.
