Silver’s been in surplus since the beginning of the bull market, and the same is true about gold. But when it comes to surplus, what this tends to tell you is that these are markets which investors are buying into, and those investors will drive prices higher. It’s not quite the same in the PGMs, where surplus tends to mean a bit more and has a certain weight on the market.
