Toro Energy Upgrades Resource at Wiluna Uranium Project

Toro Energy Limited (ASX:TOE) announced an increase to its JORC resource estimate for the Wiluna uranium project located in Western Australia. Following a 2013 drill program at the Centipede, Lake Way and Millipede targets located on the property, the company has increased its resource for Wiluna by 75% to 25.2 Mt at 551ppm for 30.6 Mlb U3O8.

Following a 2013 drill program at the Centipede, Lake Way and Millipede targets located on the property, the company has increased its resource for Wiluna by 75% to 25.2 Mt at 551ppm for 30.6 Mlb U3O8.

Highlights from the program also include:

  • 100% of resources for the Centipede and Lake Way deposits, both approved for development, classified as Measured and Indicated;
  • Confirmation all three deposits host contiguous zones of higher grade mineralisation with total Measured and Indicated Resources, at a 500ppm cut-off, of 10.1 Mt @ 912 ppm for 20.4 Mlb U3O8,; and
  • Evidence that a high grade start-up mine plan can be achieved.
