Rapaport reported that Christie’s is planning to sell what it’s calling the largest cushion-shaped fancy vivid pink diamond ever to be offered at auction. The gem is valued at $23 to $28 million.
As quoted in the market news:

The 16.08-carat diamond is set in a ring and surrounded by a double row of pavé white diamonds, with a third row of small pink diamonds underneath. The band comprises small circular-cut white diamonds set in platinum.
The auctioneer said the stone shows no trace of secondary color, “making it both attractive and exceptionally rare.”
It will be presented for auction from November 10 at the inaugural Magnificent Jewels auction in Geneva and is expected to break records for diamond sale prices.
