PDAC 2015 Watch List: Potash Companies Sowing Seeds for Success

IC Potash, Allana Potash, DuSolo Fertilizers, Great Quest Fertilizer and Western Potash are among the potash companies that will be attending PDAC.

The 2015 PDAC International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange is fast approaching, and with over 550 exhibitors attending, it will be tough to see them all. With that in mind, Resource Investing News has assembled lists of key companies attending across a variety of sectors to help investors navigate through the show.

Here’s a look at the potash companies that will be there:

  • IC Potash (TSX:ICP,OTCQX:ICPTF) — Booth 3116 — Based out of New Mexico, the company’s main focus is becoming the world’s lowest-capital-cost producer of sulfate of potash and sulfate of potash magnesia.
  • Allana Potash (TSX:AAA) — Booth 3118 — Focused on its flagship Ethiopia potash project in the Danakil Basin, Allana also holds a 100-percent interest in a land package in the potash-rich Nequen province of Argentina.
  • DuSolo Fertilizers (TSXV:DSF) — Booth 3114 — DuSolo is working in the Cerrado region of Brazil, and is currently in its first stage of production, processing high-grade phosphorite into direct-application natural fertilizer.
  • Great Quest Fertilizer (TSXV:GQ)— Booth 2848 — Great Quest is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing its Tilemsi phosphate project in Mali, West Africa.
  • Western Potash (TSX:WPX) — Booth 3114 — Currently Western Potash is working to build a solution mine at its Milestone property in Saskatchewan. It plans to develop the property in an ecologically sustainable way.

Other attendees in the space include Boreal Agrominerals in Booth 3228, Chatham Rock Phosphate (NZE:CRP) in Booth 2209B, Encanto Potash (TSXV:CPO) in Booth 3110 and Focus Ventures (TSXV:FCV) in Booth 3014.

Those interested in the potash space should be sure to keep an eye out for those companies on the floor.

PDAC will be held from March 1 to 4, 2015 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
