The International Metal Writers Conference is Coming Soon to Vancouver!
The International Metal Writers Conference will be held from May 28 to 29, and will feature over 40 expert analysts.
Junior mining is back! That’s the tagline of the International Metal Writers Conference, scheduled for May 28 to 29 in Vancouver. Hosted by Cambridge House, the event will feature talks from over 40 expert analysts in addition to dozens of exhibiting companies.
“Last year we only did one conference in Vancouver … the appetite just wasn’t in the city. I think it’s here now,” said Jay Martin, president of Cambridge House. “Junior mining is back in Vancouver 100 percent.”
When asked which talks he’s most looking forward to, Martin pointed to Monday morning’s 1 Million Ounces of Gold panel, hosted by Frank Holmes, and to the Vision to Exit Panel set for the end of the day on Monday. Commenting on the latter, he said, “this is a feature showcasing future hall of famers in the mining space … it’s going to deliver, it’ll be a lot of fun.”
Another highlight for Martin is the new meeting software that will be in place at the show. It will allow attendees to book slots of time with both exhibitors and speakers. “If you have the time to prearrange your agenda before you show up you can really amplify the productivity of your day,” he said.
Tickets to the International Metal Writers Conference are available for free online until May 27, and will be available for $20 at the door on May 28 and 29. Click here for more information. And if you attend, make sure to visit the Investing News Network in booth 101.
