Pilbara Minerals Suspends Tabba Tabba Commissioning
Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) reported that, during the commissioning process at its Tabba Tabba Tantalite project in Western Australia, the company found areas of the plant that must be modified and rectified in order for the plant to run at design levels. These are not considered to be major, but the company has decided to suspend commissioning to allow an engineering assessment to be undertaken.

As the assessment ahs only just commenced, the Company is not yet in a position to provide an indication of the time-frame for these works. On receipt of the consulting engineers’ report and agreement on the scope of works, the market will be immediately informed of the timetable for recommencement of commissioning.
