SUDBURY, ON / ACCESSWIRE / September 13, 2016 / Frontier Lithium (TSXV:FL) formerly Houston Lake Mining Inc. (TSXV:HLM) announced today that it has awarded a Phase II Metallurgical Study on its PAK Lithium Project to XPS Consulting & Testwork Services (“XPS”), a company with laboratories headquartered in Falconbridge (Ontario) Canada. This study will take place over the next three to four months and will support the Company’s commitment to advancing pre-feasibility plans in developing the PAK Lithium Project. It is expected that Pre-Feasibility will be completed by the end of March 2017.

The PAK Lithium Project in Northwestern Ontario hosts a lithium and rare-metal bearing deposit. “In March 2016, the results of the NI 43-101 Resource Estimate for the Pakeagama Lake pegmatite exceeded our expectations, confirming analogous geologic features to the high-grade, multi-element, and large tonnage Tanco deposit (see March 4, 2016 press release). We look forward to further analysis with metallurgical testing to increase our knowledge of the deposit and how to optimize future processing and development,” commented Trevor R. Walker, President, Frontier Lithium Inc.

“The comprehensive testing planned by XPS will provide validation of the features and characteristics of the PAK lithium deposit and ultimately provide flowsheet development for defining the recovery of lithium and tantalum.” XPS Consulting & Testwork Services is a metallurgical technology and testwork business based in Falconbridge (Ontario) Canada and at various operating sites around the world. The company provides quality technical expertise for orebody characterization, operational support, growth initiatives, and project development in the following commodity areas: Industrial Minerals, Nickel, Copper, Zinc, Gold, PGMs, and Rare Earth Elements.
