Fusion (NASDAQ:FSNN) has been added to the Russel Microcap Index, effective as at the open of trading on June 26, 2017.
As quoted in the press release:

Membership in the Russell Microcap® Index, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.

“We welcome our inclusion into one of the most widely followed benchmarks for emerging growth companies,” said Matthew Rosen, Fusion’s CEO. “Over the past five years, we have developed a highly compelling platform that we believe is unique in the marketplace and positions Fusion to effectively capitalize on the $200 billion cloud services market opportunity. We continue to build momentum in our operational and financial performance, and our addition to the Russell Microcap Index represents another key milestone for Fusion as we look to raise our visibility within the institutional investment community.”

Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies. Approximately $8.4 trillion in assets are benchmarked against Russell’s US indexes. Russell indexes are part of FTSE Russell, a leading global index provider.
