The NAM is a leading nonprofit group whose goal is to create a favorable policy climate for manufacturers in the United States. The NAM represents a wide array of manufacturing companies throughout the 50 states, ranging in size, and including industrial leaders such as The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Exxon Mobil Corporation, Toyota Motor North America, General Electric Company, etc. The NAM pursues this cause through informing legislators, the Executive Administration, the media, policy influencers and the public about the advantages of manufacturing in the United States.
