Mining Weekly reported Anglo American Platinum (JSE:AAL) says it will provide a once-off bonus to workers if they return to work by Tuesday.
As quoted in the market news:
The platinum producer offered all returning workers – striking or not – a once-off R2 000 allowance to ease the financial strain over the implementation of the “no work, no pay” principle.
The once-off bonus would be paid out after 48 hours and was subject to the worker “doing actual work/activities” as required by the company from the start of the Tuesday shift.
