TomaGold Corporation (TSXV:LOT) intersected 9.6 g/t Au over 2.25 m, including 17 g/t Au over 1 m, at a vertical depth of 315 m, from its 2,000-metre drilling program on its Winchester property, located immediately south-southwest of the Monster Lake property, near Quebec’s Chibougamau mining camp.
As quoted in the press release:
While still preliminary, these results could indicate that the mineralized zone connecting the Winchester, Gabriel, Mégane, 325, Annie, Nouvelle and Eratix showings is more than 9 km long, particularly as the geological setting is consistent along the entire length of the structure.
TomaGold President and Chief Executive Officer David Grondin said:
This result on Winchester is positive for TomaGold, as it could indicate continuity with the Monster Lake mineralized zone, although further work is needed to confirm this assumption. We are also still awaiting the assay results from the three other holes, which will be released as soon as they arrive.
