Knick Exploration (TSXV:KNX) is tungsten-focused exploration company looking to build its Trecesson property, as well as its East-West project in the Val d’Or mining camp in Quebec. The company also operates two properties near Timmins, Ontario.

Trecesson Highlights:

  • The “Scheelite Vein” a drill ready system which has historic reported values of 0.53 to 16.89% tungsten tri-oxide, Knick assayed results includes 3.2% tungsten tri-oxide (WO3) as well as 51g/t, 7.4g/t and 5.5g/t gold. The Scheelite Vein lies coincident with a 250m long geophysical (I.P.) anomaly, considered a priority drill target.
  • The No. 9 Vein with resource potential ready to be tested. High priority drill targets include an area where a historical 13,500 lb. (6,136 kg.) bulk sample assayed 0.45% WO3, 1g/t gold and 2013 grab samples by Knick ran 0.64%, 0.63% and 0.55% tungsten tri-oxide (WO3) and where sampling by Knick returned 0.2% tungsten-trioxide and assayed 420.37g/t gold. The No.9 Vein, traced for over 450m with widths of 1.22 to 6.10m to vertical depths of up to 91m and with parallel striking veins. Positive results in metallurgic testing producing a favourable tungsten tri-oxide (WO3) concentrate were tabulated by Mr. George Dumont – a legend in the mining industry – in a 1955 report on No. 9 Vein material.
  • The Trecesson Property overlies a metalliferous intrusive similar to the Bourlamaque Batholith area within Val d’Or mining camp host to more than 9 mines and has produced in excess of 12 M ounces of gold.

East-West Project Highlights:

  • The West Zone has a historical gold resource of 141,778 tonnes @ 3.77g/t which is equal to 534,503.06g (15,607 ounces) of gold.
  • The majority of drilling on the property has been done to less than 200 meters vertical depth.
  • Open pit potential, in house resource calculation under way.
  • Blue sky potential at depth.
  • Kiena Mines discovery started at 350 meters depth.
  • Marban mines discovery started at 400 meters depth.
  • Knick’s East-West highlights include drill sample results of 4.83g/t gold over 8.55m, 4.74g/t gold over 2.55m, down hole widths and channel sample results of 17.54g/t over 2.10m.
  • The majority of historical drilling was concentrated on the West and East gold zones “1939-1989”.
