Alcoa spends $610,000 on 3Q government lobbying

Bloomberg.com reports that Alcoa Inc. (NYSE:AA) spent $610,000 in the Q3 on government lobbying.

From July to September, Alcoa lobbied on cap-and-trade issues, including allocation credit for early action and international trade implications. Other issues included defense appropriations issues related to the naval and air programs, international taxes and hydroelectric generating facilities
