Japan Steps Up Uranium Recovery Efforts: Cameco

Bloomberg reported that Cameco Corp., said Japan is making efforts to step up uranium imports and believes the government intends to allow unused reactors to restart.

As quoted in the market news:

A recovery in Japanese buying may help the uranium-mining industry, which has canceled or deferred billions of dollars of investments as the price of the commodity fell as much as 40 percent.
