Wolf Minerals Limited (ASX:WLF) announced that its Environmental Systems at the Hemerdon Tungsten and Tin Project in Devon, England, is now ISO 14001 certified.

As quoted in the press release:

The implementation of an environmental management system is a condition of the Environment Agency’s permit for the Project and is required to be in place prior to the commencement of processing tungsten ore.

Certification to the ISO 14001 Standard provides assurance to all stakeholders that the environmental impact of the Hemerdon Project is being managed, measured and mitigated as it develops through commissioning and into operations.

Wolf Minerals Managing Director, Russell Clark, said:

It is unusual to have certification in place prior to an operation commencing and our environmental team is to be commended on its efforts that have resulted in this successful outcome. The certification is a stamp of approval that we have the necessary systems and processes in place to manage and monitor our environmental performance and it will provide our local communities and other stakeholders the comfort that we are managing the environment in which we work to the highest standards.
