Tech Times reported there have been rumors that Samsung’s (KRX:005930) new Galaxy S7 could include a magnesium alloy chassis and unibody. Predecessors have had an aluminum frame.

Tech Times reported there have been rumors that Samsung’s (KRX:005930) new Galaxy S7 could include a magnesium alloy chassis and unibody. Predecessors have had an aluminum frame.
As quoted in the publication:

A Korean publication called iNews24 reports that the next-generation Galaxy S7 will have stronger magnesium alloy body.
Samsung may have chosen magnesium alloy for the Galaxy S7 as it is 2.8 times stronger than the aluminum and also weighs 65 percent less than aluminum.
