Australia’s Century Zinc Mine Shuts as Cyclone Nears

Reuters.com reports that Century Zinc has shut its Queensland mine because of expected damage from the cyclone Yasi.

Australia’s Century zinc mine suspended production and evacuated workers on Thursday due to the approach of Cyclone Yasi, said mine owner MMG, a unit of Minmetals of China
