Entree Gold (TSX:ETG) reported results from its annual general meeting of shareholders, held on June 29. All matters submitted to shareholders were approved, including the election of six directors of the company.

Entree Gold (TSX:ETG) reported results from its annual general meeting of shareholders, held on June 29. All matters submitted to shareholders were approved, including the election of six directors of the company:

A total of 91,900,684 common shares, representing 62.51% of the votes attached to all outstanding shares as at the record date for the meeting, were represented at the AGM. This demonstrates a high level of shareholder participation, and evidences strong support for the re-election of the Board’s nominees as directors.

All of the matters submitted to the shareholders for approval as set out in the Company’s Notice of Meeting and Information Circular, both dated May 25, 2015, were approved by the requisite majority of votes cast at the AGM. Lindsay Bottomer did not stand for re-election at the AGM. The Company thanks Mr. Bottomer for his years of service on Entrée’s Board of Directors and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Shareholders also approved the re-appointment of Davidson & Company LLP as auditors of the Company for the ensuing year at the remuneration to be fixed by the directors.
